01 / Project Overview

Project Overview

Sante required the migration of its existing e-commerce users and product catalogue to Cloud MLM Software, along with the implementation of a binary MLM plan.

The project focused on transferring existing business data to the new platform while establishing the network structure required for MLM operations. The objective was to ensure a smooth transition of user records and product information, enabling Sante to manage its e-commerce operations within a system aligned with its binary MLM business model.

02 / About Sante

About Sante

Sante is a Philippines-based e-commerce business with an existing user base and product catalogue. The company needs to migrate its users and products into Cloud MLM Software to support a binary MLM plan, bringing its existing e-commerce data into a platform structured for network-based operations.

03 / The Challenge

The Challenge

Migrating an e-commerce business into an MLM environment involves more than copying information between systems. User records and products need to retain their meaning while fitting the structure of the new platform.

For Sante, the central requirement is to transfer its existing users and products into Cloud MLM Software. The binary plan adds a separate configuration requirement: determining how participating members will be organised and how the approved compensation rules will apply.

These areas must be considered together. An e-commerce user account does not, by itself, establish a member’s sponsor, network position, or commission eligibility. Similarly, a product’s selling price does not automatically define the volume used for qualification or commission calculations.

04 / Binary MLM Plan

The Binary MLM Plan and Requirements

A binary network generally organises participating members into two placement branches, commonly called the left and right legs. However, the binary structure alone does not define the compensation formula.

Sponsor relationship

The sponsor is the person who introduces a member to the business.

Placement relationship

Placement identifies where that member sits within the binary network.

It is also important to distinguish sponsorship from placement. Depending on the company’s rules, these relationships may differ.

Sante’s confirmed requirement identifies a binary plan, but its detailed commission and qualification rules have not been supplied. Commission rates, matching methods, payout cycles, caps, and carry-forward treatment therefore remain outside this case study.

Any rank qualification volume would also need to be defined separately from the basis used to calculate commissions.

05 / Intended Solution

The Intended Solution

The intended solution connects Sante’s existing e-commerce data with Cloud MLM Software’s role in supporting its binary MLM model.

User migration

The user migration component addresses the need to bring existing accounts into the destination system. A key planning consideration is how those accounts should be classified, particularly where customers and network participants have different roles.

Product migration

The product migration component addresses the transfer of the existing catalogue. Product information must be mapped to the destination fields, with any MLM-related values determined by Sante’s approved business rules.

Binary configuration

The binary configuration is a related but distinct part of the requirement. Existing user data should not be treated as proof of sponsorship or placement relationships. Those relationships need their own confirmed source or agreed assignment process.

06 / Implementation

Implementation Considerations

The confirmed scope covers user migration, product migration, and a binary MLM plan. The implementation method, integrations, testing process, training arrangements, and launch dates have not yet been documented for this case study.

For this scope, a suitable validation approach would compare source and destination records, check for missing or duplicate entries, and verify the agreed network relationships. Commission validation would require Sante’s complete compensation rules before meaningful expected-payment scenarios could be prepared.

These are implementation considerations, rather than claims about work already completed.

07 / Results & Value

Results and Project Value

Verified post-migration results are not yet available. The intended value is to bring Sante’s existing users and products into an environment that supports its planned binary MLM operations.

The project illustrates an important migration principle: business data, network relationships, and compensation rules need to be defined clearly and checked separately.
